DECLUTTER YOUR MIND with a brain dump exercise
The simple technique of 'brain dumping' allows you to reduce the mental chatter, clear your thoughts, focus and put things into perspective.
All you need to do is simply grab a pen and paper, and just start jotting down all your thoughts, without limitations, for 5 – 10 minutes. Give yourself permission and time to get things out of your head and down on paper. Once you have all your thoughts written down, then you can start organizing them into to-do lists, priorities or anything else that comes to mind.
You can do it daily or weekly, as you see best for yourself! There is no right time to do this exercise, we like to do it either just before bed or first thing in the morning, as it’s a great way to get clarity and focus on the day ahead.
Healthy Hacks to beat your sugar cravings
We love good food! It’s embedded in our culture; it’s entrenched in our family roots. Food is at the center of every occasion, holiday and party in our homes. We love sharing our passion and knowledge as we promote healthy living, flexible eating that nourishes your mind and body, and most importantly show you how eating healthy food should never compromise on taste.
Sugar cravings is a special topic for us as many of our clients deal with that and so do we! We’ve found ourselves multiple times grabbing that bar of chocolate, ordering an ice cream from the shop downstairs or indulging in a big chocolate cake. It’s totally normal and sometimes caving into a craving is the best solution; and with that being said, there are also many healthy hacks you can do to help manage your cravings and feel good from the inside out.
